Overweight and obesity are defined as abnormal or excessive fat accumulation that present a risk to health.
A crude population measure of obesity is the body mass index(BMI) a person's weight in kilograms divided by the  square of his or her height in meters.A person with BMI of 30 or more is generally obese.A person with a BMI equal to 25 is considered overweight.
Overweight and obesity are major risk factors for a number of chronic diseases including diabetes,cardiovascular diseases and cancers.
Type 2 diabetes is the other risk factor of obesity.This disorder will keep your blood sugar above normal,as a result of which can park other health problems like stroke,kidney disease,and coronary heart disease.So how to lose some weight should be of a serious concern to anyone who is overweight to avoid health disaster.
Foods that helps:
Foods that will help you lose weight are foods that are low in fat,or fat free,and foods that are eaten in moderation.

Whole Grains:
such as:
Eat whole grain foods 
1.Bread and pasta made with whole wheat flour
2.Oat meals
3.Corn meals
4.Brown rice

Protein:
 Such as :
1.Local bread
2.red kidney beans
3.black beans
4.soybeans
5.non fat meat
6.plantain

Vegetable :
Such as:
1.asparagus
2.cabbage
3.carrots
4.cucumber
5.starch food such as rice or noodles for lunch or dinner
6.lettuce
7.tomatoes.

Dairy foods:
Such as:

1.eggs
2.no fat or low fat yogurt
3.drink milk that is low in fat or fat free.

Beverages:
Drink tea or coffee without the addition of milk or sugar.Drink about eight glasses of water a day to fill you up and keep you healthy.

Fruits:
Include healthy fruits in your diet.some to choose from are:

1.Apples
2.garden eggs
3.pineapple
4.banana
5.grapes
6.peaches

Exercise to lose weight:

The best way to lose weight faster is to keep your body fit by exercising always as it burns fat faster than any other method.if your working place is close to your house,cultivate the habit of walking down to your office every day and you will see how fit you will become in a short while.

Treatments
Extract the juice of 2 pieces of lemon,grind/blend 5 pieces of grape,one ginger and mix all together with two spoons of honey added.

Dosage

Half glass cup daily until you are satisfied with the result(not for pregnant woman).
