God’s Enduring Love of His People

God tells Hosea to marry a harlot Hosea obediently complies and marries a harlot. Soon, to no one’s surprise, Hosea’s wife abandons him to become a harlot again, only to eventually end up in slavery.

 Now the real shocker comes! God tells Hosea to buy her back, love her, and take her back as his wife, thus illustrating in his life the love and forgiveness that God has for his people, even after they have sinned against him. What a story! What a God we have!
