In some
instance, people use atbash codes where first letter of the alphabet is use to
represent the last letter. Thus A to represent Z, Biblical example is (Jeremiah
25:26, 51:1 and 51:41) apart from this example, you cannot find the use of
atbash in the bible again.
Although
this style was used in the ancient days but in a nonbiblical literature which
was associated with children or other students educational exercise
Gematria
The Hebrew
language can use the letters of the alphabet to represent sound in the spelling
of words. Gematria code suggests the interconnection between a letter and a
number. They use this to find new and hidden meaning in words.
Gematria is
used as an important interpretative approach to the Hebrew Bible (Old
Testament) within certain Jewish movement ( Kabbalah)
The use of
the number 666 in Revelation 13:18, the Gematria suggest is equal to the name
Nero Caesar while others suggest is the mark of the beast. The Gematria was
also suggested to be used by John in writing the Revelation.
